The Upcycled Football Boot
Our journey began across public secondary schools investigating the decline of grassroots sports. Using the 5 Whys technique, we traced the root cause down to a single barrier: the prohibitively high cost of sports footwear. Brilliant young athletic talent was abundant, but safe gear was completely out of reach financially.
From Waste to Premium Performance
While walking those identical premises, a sea of discarded LDPE “pure water” sachets highlighted an instant epiphany: solve the plastic waste crisis by solving the youth sports footwear crisis. Developed through the African Climate Stories Fellowship and awarded the YALI Network Abuja Business Grant, we engineered the world’s first football boot crafted from upcycled water sachets—keeping dreams alive on the pitch.

Our commitment to “Sports for Development” (S4D) continues to scale through the BudgIT Climate Champions Fellowship. Beyond the pitch, we have successfully expanded our circular model.
Scaling The Next Frontier
We adapted our custom, resilient, leather-like upcycled fiber into high-quality, eco-friendly backpacks built for everyday wear. As we grow, our focus centers on the research and fabrication of specialized machinery to completely automate the raw LDPE-to-material conversion pipeline, continuously elevating the aesthetic finish and performance engineering of our gear.
